HDFC's Anup Bagchi to become India's highest-paid bank CEO with ₹36-crore pay

HDFC Bank's incoming CEO Anup Bagchi will receive a pay package of around ₹36 crore, making him India's highest-paid bank CEO, according to an exchange filing. The package comprises fixed pay of ₹8.97 crore and performance-linked variable pay of ₹26.92 crore. In comparison, outgoing CEO Sashidhar Jagdishan's annual pay stands at ₹15.13 crore.
