Commenting on Ben Stokes' long spells in Lord's Test, former England captain Joe Root revealed that Stokes didn't listen to his advice on workload management when the former was leading the team. "Stokes knows what he's doing and he's got a good handle on where he's at physically...He's just desperate to be the man and make things happen," Root added.
