American chess Grandmaster Hans Niemann slammed Hikaru Nakamura over his "Mossad" remark, saying, "Historically, Nakamura has made numerous public accusations against other players without consistently providing strong evidence." Criticising FIDE over its anti-cheating measures at the Candidates Tournament, Nakamura had said, "I feel like what are we all? Mossad agents inside Iran or something."
