Director R Balki called Abhishek Bachchan an "understated actor" with a "certain casualness behind his simmering intensity". Balki said Abhishek is "no longer weighed down" by the pressure of the project, adding that he has "learnt to relax for the camera, without losing the punch in his performance". Abhishek will be seen in Balki's upcoming film 'Ghoomer'.
