Cricketer-turned-commentator Ian Bishop, when asked if DC's Mitchell Starc would get same treatment as Jasprit Bumrah from Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, said, "He'll come better prepared." He added, "I think you have to give Starc credit...He won't be Bumrah." Sooryavanshi had hit Bumrah for a first-ball six in IPL 2026. Starc, who's recovered from injury, may feature in DC-RR match on Friday.
