He's vegetarian: Fish traders as they oppose naming of Guj fish market after PM Modi

A row erupted after Surat Fish Merchant Association installed a board calling a new fish market 'Shree Narendra Modi Wholesale Fish Market' without civic approval. "[PM] Modi has never consumed seafood...and is a pure vegetarian...this board shouldn't be put up," said fish trader Surendra Lashkari on behalf of the Kahar-Machhi community. Association president Kalpesh Navsariwala defended the move.
