He wants to sell more chips: 'Godfather of AI' on Huang downplaying AI risk

Geoffrey Hinton, known as "Godfather of AI", criticised NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang for saying there is no chance AI will end the world by 2030. Hinton said Huang has a "large financial interest in not slowing down" AI because "obviously he wants to sell more chips". He added that there is a 10-20% risk that AI could cause catastrophic harm.
