Health insurance plans will now add other kinds of relationships, including same-sex partners, in-laws, dependents, nieces and nephews under a single policy. This benefit is extended for individual, multi-individual (relatives other than immediate family members), and family floater health insurance plans. The addition of these new relationships is likely to be allowed during the renewal time.
