WHO says that an estimated 17.9 million lives are lost each year due to cardiovascular diseases and more than four out of five CVD deaths are due to heart attacks and strokes. There are several factors that cause a heart attack. Some of them are; high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, obesity and genetic factors.
