Heather Knight, the former England women’s captain, was visibly struggling with a hamstring issue during the third T20I of the three-match series against West Indies. Just a few days later, after the subsequent MRI scan, it was revealed that she had suffered a “significant tendon injury” in her right hamstring. She is ruled out of the English summer of cricket.
