Heatwave to severe heatwave conditions are likely in many parts of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh on May 29 and gradual reduction thereafter is likely to be seen with heatwave conditions in isolated parts till June 1. Similar conditions are likely in Bihar, Jharkhand and Odisha. Chhattisgarh and Himachal Pradesh may also witness heatwave conditions.
