Commuters faced traffic snarls and delays, prompting the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and police to install barricades and divert vehicles. The Andheri Subway was closed to traffic at 7:40 am due to water accumulation but reopened at 8:24 am after the water level receded.
