Heavy rain washes away bridge, temple in K'taka's Chamarajanagar

Heavy overnight rain in Chamarajanagar washed away a bridge and a temple, disrupting road connectivity. Water flowed across farmlands and ravines, causing difficulties for residents and motorists. In the early hours of Tuesday, a mudslide also brought down debris from a hill slope onto the interstate highway connecting MM Hills with Tamil Nadu.
