The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued heavy to extremely heavy rainfall warning for 18 states/UTs. It is very likely over Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Karnataka, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Kerala, Goa, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Uttarakhand across Saturday and Sunday.
