The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued heavy to very heavy rainfall warning for several states/UTs for Friday (October 17). It is very likely over Kerala, Puducherry, Lakshadweep, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. Meanwhile, thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and gust winds (30 to 40 kmph) are very likely in Kerala, Puducherry, Tamil Nadu and Telangana.
