Veteran actress Hema Malini on Monday received the Padma Vibhushan award on behalf of her late husband and legendary actor Dharmendra. Malini appeared visibly emotional while receiving the award. Their daughter Ahana Deol also broke down into tears during the ceremony. Dharmendra passed away aged 89 in November 2025 after age-related complications.
