Kotak MF has temporarily suspended fresh lumpsum and switch-in investments in its Kotak Silver ETF Fund of Fund, effective Friday, as soaring domestic silver premiums make new purchases less cost-efficient. The move comes amid a steep rally in silver prices up ₹6,000 to a record ₹1.63 lakh per kg, and a widening premium gap.
