HFCL approves ₹820 cr additional capex for optical fibre expansion

HFCL Ltd's board approved ₹820 crore additional capex to expand optical fibre, cable, and preform capacities, taking total planned capex to ₹1,800 crore. The investment will boost OF capacity to 43.10 Mn fkm and OFC to 62 Mn fkm annually. Projects are backed by a ₹19,000 crore order book, with completion expected by 2028.
