A 'hidden world' of aquatic life has been discovered 500 metres below the ice in Antarctica with shrimp-like creatures in a vast cathedral-like cavern. Scientists from New Zealand found the ecosystem under the Ross ice shelf as they were investigating impact of global warming in a suspected estuary. They captured the organisms after lowering a camera through a drill hole.
