High screen time can hurt kids' learning, language skills: Study

A study has found that elevated screen exposure could have an impact comparable to parental behaviour and premature birth. Higher screen use for gaming, social media and streaming can lead to lower academic achievement and language development issues, it added. The analysis, which included data on over 28 lakh children across 64 countries, covered a variety of devices and activities.
