The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has proposed the development of a third Ring Road in Delhi to decongest the arterial roads. NHAI also suggested completing the 49-kilometre Urban Extension Road 2 by connecting three major highways of Delhi. Meanwhile, union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari said that Centre is executing projects worth ₹34,000 crore to decongest Delhi.
