HIIT helps the brain use energy better: Study

A new study in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism shows that 12 weeks of high-intensity interval training (HIIT) improved brain glucose metabolism in both young and older adults. Since glucose is the brain's main fuel, this finding suggests that regular HIIT may help maintain or improve brain function with age.
