India's 22-year-old sprinter Hima Das missed out on a CWG 2022 final spot in the women’s 200m race after a photo finish semi-final 2. Hima clocked 23.42 seconds, 0.01 seconds less than second-placed Australia's Ella Connolly, who secured automatic qualification to the final along with first-placed Namibia's Christine Mboma from semi-final 2. Hima finished 10th across the three semi-finals.
