Himachal Pradesh CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said on Friday that the state intends to become India's first green energy state by 2025. Sukhu, who held a meeting with the state's energy department, added that Himachal Pradesh would harness hydro, hydrogen and solar energy and switch to green products. The state government will install 500 MW solar projects in 2023-24.
