Himachal Pradesh has become the first Indian state to implement a State Data Hosting Policy, significantly advancing its digital governance framework. Announced by Gokul Butail, Principal Advisor to the Chief Minister, this initiative coincides with a surge in online public services, from about 113 to nearly 200, enhancing the efficiency and accessibility of governance through technology.
