A rare Himalayan fern, Dryopteris conjugata, has been rediscovered in Himachal Pradesh nearly 150 years after it was last recorded. The species was found by Dr Sunil Kumar Verma, Assistant Professor at DAV College, Hoshiarpur. It marks only the second confirmed record of the fern in the state and the first documented record from Kullu district.
