Himachal’s difficult terrain, narrow roads become death corridors

Himachal Pradesh is witnessing a disturbing rise in road accidents with its difficult terrain, limited means of transport, narrow and poorly engineered roads, sharp curves and increasing traffic, turning several stretches into corridors of death and disability. The state's challenging topography makes road engineering and traffic management equally critical.
