The Himachal Pradesh government will now get additional income of ₹250 crore from 1,045 MW Karcham Wangtoo Hydroelectric Power Project in Kinnaur district after SC gave a decision in favour of the state. A spokesperson said CM Sukhvinder Sukhu had decided to pursue the matter legally to increase the state revenue and provide benefit to Himachali people of their resources.
