Himachal Pradesh CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said the state will be the first to provide a subsidy of ₹50 lakh to private operators to buy electric buses. He said the state will provide a ₹10 lakh subsidy to the private operators on the purchase of electric taxis. He announced ₹50 lakh subsidy on the purchase of electric trucks.
