Tourist occupancy this year in hotels of Himachal Pradesh is around 8-9% less than last year, MD of HP Tourism Development Corporation Rajiv Kumar said. "Tourist occupancy is lower because of the negative publicity as they worry about getting stuck in landslides," he said, adding that Himachal Pradesh is very big and not all areas are affected.
