Himalaya on Friday issued a statement after a group of people started to call for #BoycottHimalaya over its halal policy. The company said, "None of the Himalaya products contain meat, as alleged in some of the social media platforms; this is factually incorrect." It added, that halal certification "does not imply that a product contains animal-derived ingredients."
