Himalayan serow spotted in Dalhousie forests after two decades
The elusive Himalayan serow has been captured on camera in Himachal Pradesh's Dalhousie catchment forests for the first time in two decades. Forest staff recorded the Near Threatened mountain ungulate during a routine patrol, marking the first confirmed visual record from the Dalhousie landscape. The species is rarely seen due to its solitary and secretive nature.
