Hindi isn't replacing Marathi in schools: Maharashtra CM Fadnavis

Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis clarified that Hindi is not replacing Marathi in schools but will be taught as a third language under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Adding that Marathi was still "compulsory", he said, "Everyone can learn English, Hindi, and other languages." The Maharashtra government has made Hindi a mandatory third language for Classes 1 to 5.
