Hindi is the most spoken Indian language in the US, data collected from 2009 to 2013 by the US Census Bureau has revealed. Hindi has around 6.5 lakh speakers in the US while Urdu and Gujarati are spoken by 4 lakh and 3.7 lakh people respectively. Spanish emerged as the most popular language after English with over 37.4 million speakers.
