Hindustan Unilever now India's third most valuable company, overtakes HDFC Bank

FMCG giant Hindustan Unilever (HUL) has become India's third most valuable company with a market capitalisation of ₹4.66 lakh crore, overtaking HDFC Bank. While the lender has lost about 36% of its value this year, HUL has gained 11%. Reliance Industries and TCS remained at the top with market capita­lisation of ₹6.83 lakh crore and ₹6.21 lakh crore, respectively.
