Hindustan Zinc Limited received the licence from the state government to explore and mine a tungsten block in Andhra Pradesh. The company has been declared as the 'successful bidder' for the tungsten and associated mineral block in Balepalyam, Kanaganapalle, Sri Satya Sai District. Notably, Vedanta Group is looking to expand beyond zinc, lead, and silver into critical and high-value minerals.
