Hindustan Zinc rises 4% after Q2 profit jumps 142%

Hindustan Zinc shares rose nearly 4% to ₹559.85 on Wednesday before paring gains following its Q2 FY27 results. Consolidated net profit surged 142% YoY to ₹6,412 crore, while revenue increased 76.5% to ₹15,093 crore. EBITDA doubled to ₹9,285 crore, supported by higher zinc and silver prices, increased production and a stronger dollar.
