The shares of Hindustan Zinc jumped over 7.4% on BSE to close at ₹561.35 per share on Friday over the previous close of ₹522.45. The stock recorded a new 52-week high of ₹567.50. The surge is attributed to the sharp rise in silver prices, with futures with March expiry crossing the ₹2 lakh-per-kg mark for the first time on Friday.
