Employees and residents of Hinjewadi IT Park are demanding its merger with the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) due to infrastructure issues and inadequate facilities. The IT park houses over 5 lakh employees but lacks basic amenities. Supriya Sule, Member of Parliament, has called for the creation of a dedicated authority to address the grievances of residents and employees.
