Hirect, a chat-based hiring platform for startups, has fired 40% or 200 employees in what it termed as organisational restructuring. CEO Raj Das said that the company is undergoing a strategic change in its business model and remarked, "We still have hundreds of employees with us." As per LinkedIn, the Bengaluru and San Francisco-based startup has over 400 employees.
