Anupam Kher defended singer Daler Mehndi after Uttarakhand Minister Subodh Uniyal confronted him during live performance, accusing him of being drunk. Stating that his health hasn't been good for past few months, Kher said, "Minister ji, you might have issue with his performance...But was it necessary to humiliate him like that [on stage]?" You could've said it privately, he added.
