While presenting Union Interim Budget 2024, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said the recently announced India-Middle East-Europe Corridor is a "strategic and economic game-changer for India and others". It will become the basis of global trade for hundreds of years and history will remember this corridor was initiated on Indian soil, she added.
