H&M shuts 20 stores in China over Xinjiang cotton remarks: Report

Hennes & Mauritz (H&M), the world's second-largest clothing retailer, was forced to close about 20 of its 500 outlets in China, New York Times reported. It comes after the company had earlier raised concerns over the alleged use of forced labour by Xinjiang cotton producers. Retail brands, including Nike, Adidas and Burberry, have also faced backlash for voicing concerns.
