Home loan insurance adoption has risen sharply, with policy purchases increasing nearly sevenfold in the past five months, according to a PolicyBazaar report. Demand is largely driven by borrowers who are financially settled and looking to buy homes. Customers aged 31-45 make up about 70% of buyers. Borrowers with higher loan amounts are increasingly opting for protection products.
