Japanese automaker, Honda, has announced its plan to recall 4.5 million more vehicles globally as a preventative measure against the defective Takata-made airbags deployed in its cars. This brings the total number of globally recalled Honda vehicles in this case to 24.5 million. Takata’s defective airbags have deployed with explosive force in several cases and have caused eight deaths.
