Hong Kong lawmakers push for surveillance cameras in classrooms

Surveillance cameras should be installed in classrooms to monitor teachers' speeches, pro-establishment lawmakers in Hong Kong have said. "The recordings can monitor their teaching, and can also prove some innocent if they're smeared," said a lawmaker. This comes after China imposed a national security law on Hong Kong that aims at stamping out opposition to the ruling Communist Party.
