Hong Kong authorities on Monday reported 34,466 new COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours, increasing by four times from a week ago. "Once every three days the case number will double," said Albert Au, Principal Medical and Health Officer. On the other hand, Hong Kong Health Minister Sophia Chan said the government was "still discussing" the matter of lockdown.
