Hong Kong on Sunday reported 1,347 new COVID-19 cases, down from Saturday's tally of 1,514. However, authorities added there were about 2,000 preliminary cases threatening Hong Kong's overstretched healthcare system. This comes after China assured assistance with testing, treatment and quarantine capacity. So far, Hong Kong has reported around 24,000 cases and more than 200 deaths.
