CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), the force behind the Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine, on Friday said that it was hoping to introduce the single-dose coronavirus vaccine Sputnik V Light in India soon. Kirill Dmitriev said 850 million doses of the Sputnik V vaccine, which was soft-launched in India today, are expected to be produced here this year.
