Following the claims of a scientist of creating world's first genetically-edited babies, the co-inventor of the technology Jennifer Doudna has said that she was "horrified" and "disgusted" that it was used in such a way. Further, on being asked if the scientist's actions were worth it, Doudna added, "They were certainly not medically necessary."
